Reports & analytics

binthere tracks every item you add — which means it can answer questions like “what’s my total stuff worth?” and “what’s been checked out the longest?”

From the Settings → Analytics screen you get:

  • Total value — summed across all items with a value assigned
  • Item count — overall, per zone, per bin
  • Most valuable bin / zone — leaderboard style
  • Check-out stats — what’s out, who has it, how long it’s been gone
  • Growth over time — items added per week/month
  • Tag distribution — a chart of your most-used tags

From the Reports screen:

  • PDF — formatted inventory list, grouped by zone and bin, with photos. Good for insurance documentation or an estate.
  • CSV — raw tabular data. Good for opening in Numbers / Excel, or feeding into another tool.

Both can be filtered: a single zone, a single bin, items above a value threshold, items with a specific tag, or items checked out.

Every item’s:

  • Name, description, tags, custom fields
  • Photo(s)
  • Value (if set)
  • Bin & zone
  • Created date, last edited
  • Current checkout status (if any)
  • Insurance — export a PDF of your whole inventory with values and photos; save to your home records
  • Moving — filter by zone and print to track what goes in which moving truck
  • Estate — list of assets with photos and values for probate
  • Donation — filter by tag (“donate”), export a CSV for your receipt
